Hello all! I am new to Bigger Pockets. I would like to enter the landscape of real estate investing, but the area I live in has a barrier to entry with regards to cost. So I would like to look into out-of-state investing. However, I am unsure on how to go about finding the proper handyman/maintenance guy/management team to help run any out-of-state investments I make. I'd like to find honest people who are not going to rip me off. Does anyone have any tips on how to find the right guys or methods that you use to vet people? thank you!

You can search these forums for vendor recommendations but you can also join a real estate investment club in the area you want to invest and get the same info. For example, I’m in Orlando and CFRI is the local club. Their newsletter/website/social media has all the vendor recommendations for our area. Good luck!
