Stabilization and Property Management
Hi BP Team,
I recently finished my first investment property acquisition and BRRRR on a Duplex in ATL, and I renovated the basement into a studio turning the unit into a Triplex. Construction was cheap and efficient, and the ARV came back as a home run, but trying to get it stabilized has been a nightmare. The only tenant that I inherited from the seller is now squatting in one of the units, and the other 2 units (1bd/1bth and studio) have not been rented since purchasing the unit in May.
Do you have any property management companies that you recommend for the ATL area? Is this the standard for most out of state ATL investors at the moment, or does this seem like it wasn't listed/marketed correctly?
I'm trying to understand the issue so I can get this solved. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
