Is Your Mindset Rich Or Wealthy?

Jo and I did a whole podcast on the topic “Why you should want to be wealthy, not rich”, and in this podcast we talked about the differences between what it means to be rich vs wealthy.

We concluded that when someone is rich, they’re more of a saver/reducer. This example is seen in the book, The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley. In the book, the “millionaires” are driving old cars, and basically not looking the part. Now, we understand that looks aren’t everything… But let’s look at what it means to be wealthy.

When someone is wealthy, they spend purposefully. By this we basically mean that they INVEST! They invest in their businesses, in other people, and in themselves. We see this example from Grant Cardone. He SPENDS a lot of money. He has a private jet, 2 Rolls Royce (wrapped in his brand), and just spent $10M on a networking event. THIS is what a wealthy person is! He doesn’t spend money on all of those things just to look the part, but to expand his brand.

So let me ask you this...

Which type of person are you, rich or wealthy?

I hope you figure out who you want to be..

Best wishes,

Jas
