1️⃣3️⃣5️⃣ - The largest apartment complex we’ve purchased to date. Some deals come to you when you least expect it.I have been talking with people in the industry about how to buy a 100+ unit property the last 12 months, and every deal we came across in that range was over priced or not in the right location or had some other issue.

I was starting to think it would never happen, then in mid September I get a call from a broker we’ve closed several deals with and 48 days later we were UC...

Fast forward to December 3rd, and we closed on a deal I didn’t even think was possible.

- Persistence ~ over the last 12 months I probably told 50 people that I wanted to do a larger deal until it finally happened - - heard NO over 100x

What are you wanting to do in 2020 that is more challenging than what you’re currently doing? How many NO’s and frustrating meetings or phone calls are you willing to go through to get it done?

PS - this was the first property we purchased that my brother is an official partner on, made it extra sweet!
