Marketing update - Newest Mailing
Sent out another 630 postcards on the 30th.
For those keeping track I am up to 4335 sent out.
The unbelievably bad response rate is still holding up as I have only had those 2 calls to be taken off the list so far.
With Thanksgiving still being fresh I will give another day or 2 before I will call that last batch a failure as well.
I will be putting one more batch in the mail soon which will finish off my initial list! Still have a little editing left but I will just a touch under 5000 total for a total.
I'm going to be setting up my pieces that I bought form YellowLetters.com to start follow ups in the next 1-2 weeks. I am interested to see how using these more tested pieces will work vs. the ones that have done so bad for me to this point. :)

Shaun, I guess I missed your earlier postings about this mail campaign. Wowser, sometimes the results can be bad but bless your heart this is a beating! I just sent out 130 letters 12 days ago to an inheritance list and got 5 calls. Only one was a removal; 3 look like possible deals and one is just an ugly beast. I am NOT using the standard yellow letter tho. I want to know more about what you are doing. I'll check your posts. Hope it gets better!

Hey Melodee, Thanks for commenting. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I don't think I got any alert that there had been a comment made. Yeah these results are pretty brutal. Chalking it up to learning experience. I feel it is clear I have no ability to design a mail piece. On the bight side if the results were just a little bad I may have not realized I need to just go with one designed by pros that have proven results. :)
