Squeezed into Simplifying

OK, I've got my two daughters and wife into a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. We call it our tree house. Painters did a nice job and carpet guys come this Friday.

We are not sure how we'll price our home just yet, but I know the minimum I need to payoff the mortgage and roof loans. It's going to be close... but this is what walking by faith looks like. Nerve racking.

  1. I'm super fortunate to have an in-law house behind my parent's home. We are camp out there. Without using all my resources, we would have had to pay someone rent or lose our own incoming rent to make this maneuver. Attitudes are good on the home front - for now. My kids want bunk beds, so I'll give in a little and get them some. Let's hope that after our home is professionally staged, it sells in 1 day and I can get my wife hunting for a nice rental home for us.

  2. Al, You neglected to mention whether you are squeezed into the 2-bdrm along with your wife and little ladies, or if you have been relegated to the parking lot ;-) I presume you are in one of your own apartments?
