The Little Things that Don't Get Done
I can’t believe it is Saturday morning already. I looked over my list of ongoing projects and I have made very little progress. My excuse is I was busy, yes I really had an overwhelming week but when it comes to accomplishing my goals I have to find a way to move forward.
My projects in PA. I have decided to move forward with the rehab of 3 properties and I had a simple task this week of calling on a contractor or two…NOT Done.
My project Rehab/Flip in MA. I had cleared the driveway and ordered heating oil. NOT really progress. Second thought on this project I am doing way to much of the work myself. Going to change that on future projects.
Project in Abington SOLD but I can’t cash the check. I operate from the Ready, Fire, Aim perspective but I realize I have shooting from the hip (not really aiming just point the gun in the right direction). I hold the property in a trust but ran the project through a checking account in my name (I am the beneficiary). When I went to deposit the check the teller said, “You have to deposit it in the Trust account.”
OUCH…Now I can’t find the Trust documents…I don’t have EIN…
Did I move forward on this front? Sort of I finally got a copy of the Trust declaration from my attorney but I never got my EIN and now I have to wait until Monday when the IRS is open for business.
Upcoming things that have to get done.
Taxes…OK spreadsheets suck for keeping track of expenses and I need to get a bookkeeper
Cash the damn check from my sale
Complete demo of basement on my Flip in MA
Call contractor in PA and have 2 properties trashed out.
Clean and organize my office so I can find what I am looking for!
And go to work
