Stick to Your Wheelhouse

Some of the best advice I've ever gotten from someone inside the real estate industry was to stick to your wheelhouse, stick to what you know and what you love doing inside your real estate business. It doesn’t matter if your real estate wholesaler, a flipper a real estate agent a lender etc... Each and every real estate strategy is a good one.

If you currently have a business model that is working and you’re successful keep growing, instead of trying to add other stuff, stick to what is clearly working. If you're making money and you enjoy it, why would you try to do something different?

Obviously if you don't like your business model and and you're not making the money you want to make and you don’t think you will be able to, then change it up. There’s nothing wrong with making changes.

If business is great, then stick to your wheelhouse and ignore the shiny objects. On the other hand, if you do have available time and you're already successful in your business and want to dabble in other things, you should. But before you get to a level of success, stick to what's working for you and what you like.
