We hold an REI club meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month. We meet at Mimi's Cafe in Thousand Oaks at 6:30 pm. No hype, no sales. First visit is free and $15 or membership after that.

It is a great place to get your questions answered or figure out what question to ask.

    Actually we have dropped the fee to $10 per meeting and no membership.  The first visit is free.
