Any landlords here Baselane for banking or any of the other services they provide? I signed up for a free account to collect rent and use them as my dedicated bank account for my LLC. They also mention they run backgrounds checks, have accounting services, loans, etc. Almost seems to good to be true so want to hear experience from anyone who does or has used them as a landlord. Thanks in advance!
I completely agree! I've been using Baselane for about a year now, and it’s been a game-changer. It’s incredibly convenient to have everything—leases, tenant screening, rent collection, and bookkeeping—all in one place, rather than juggling multiple platforms.
I also appreciate that they take customer feedback seriously and continuously improve the platform to make it as user-friendly and comprehensive as possible.
Recently, I started a BRRRR project, and I was impressed by how easily I could get matched with a preferred lender to explore financing options. If you're a landlord, Baselane is definitely worth trying.
I've been using Baselane for about a year now and I love it!
I use it to manage 2 LTR and 1 MTR from rent collection to bookkeeping, tenant screening to tax prep. I really appreciate that they've carefully thought through the experience for both the landlord and the tenant.
For example, as a landlord, if I collect rent right into my Baselane bank account (which is a no brainer), I don't have to pay any fees to collect rent. Similarly, as a tenant, if they pay with ACH, they don't have to pay any fees either.
For bookkeeping, you can assign credit cards and bank accounts to automatically tag transactions. This, plus the little notification of transactions that have not been tagged yet are an absolute game changer for me staying up to date on bookkeeping and being able to confidently do it myself.
Regarding the tenant screening, its a fantastic way to manage tenants from start to end all within Baselane. This let me consolidate from 3 separate tools for managing my properties down to just one. I can now manage the process from tenant screening, lease signing, and security deposit collection all the way to lease termination and returning security deposits.
Overall, I think they're setting the new normal for what a landlord should expect from a property management tool.

@Mike Levene That's great info! Those were my thoughts exactly. It looks like the ideal one stop shop but wanted to see if anybody else had experience and if it was truly as good as it seems. I'll plan to stick with it then! Thanks for the input Mike.

I've been using Baselane for more than a year now. All the features you mentioned are accurate, and then some. I have a portfolio of MTRs, LTRs and one STR and I use it for all three. Some of the features I like best are: it's very easy to set up bank accounts and sub-accounts within Baselane so keeping finances straight across a multi-property or multi-LLC is simple and clean; I like being able to set up virtual credit cards to pay my subs and trades with and attach that credit card to a specific bank account or property; and I love the rent processing feature that gives me real time updates about the status of rent collection. You should definitely check it out and go through a demo.

I’ve had a good experience with the banking side, particularly being able to keep rental finances organized without needing a separate spreadsheet/accounting workflow for everything. The property-level visibility is probably what I like most.
