There is not a lot of protection for landlords and Rent Control laws are formed and function with the assumption that anyone that owns investment property is "rich."

At the OTHER end, when renting to STR /MTR guests, there may be devices that either provide security, safety, functionality to your furnished rental that you don't want guests accidentally or intentionally disabling or damaging or using,  ie IoT devices, cameras, etc.

So it would be good to make sure everything is function or some weird law comes out where it favors the tenant outlandishly (I am not familiar with the rental laws of NY).My suggestion would be a blend of previous statements and our concerns.

As far as replacing it, whatever would take its place would have to be absolutely slick, and I'm really looking for something that combines the functionality of RingCentral with a CRM of some sort to streamline contacting leads, tenants, clients, etc, for the purpose of scheduling texts/calls, text campaigns and follow ups.
