The answers are individual specific; people can tell you what they'd do, but without a thorough knowledge and understanding YOU it won't have much relevance.Here's my suggestion - read books, search for biographical information, and become familiar with people who have accumulated a good size portfolio of real property, to see how their ambitions, experiences, knowledge, and personal attributes align with yours.

Milwaukee City Assessor's office doesn't seem to offer property attributes for parcels listed as mercantile apartments.The $25K rehab cost is the roughest swag in this entire calculation, in my opinion.

it seems in our area that land takes a while to sell and sometimes parcels are on for a year or more (which I attribute to not being priced right - like an existing house), but is that typical because of study periods?

I attribute my success to 2 factors. 1- unrelenting determination. 2- the ability to admit and identify that I need to utilize people who are better at a particular skill set than me and check my big head at the door.
