I used a painter for the exterior. 

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a painter who can do this within the next week or so.

I am a professional painter but do not know much about carpentry.

We prepped did a walk thru 2 weeks prior to order any needed supplies, we did some repair work early if we found that we could, Our Painter was not in house he was FABULOUS,, he would work non stop, and others followed as soon as he was done.

Silver lining - I paid a few grand to find a great contractor, a rock solid plumber and an awesome painter/plasterer.

I am assuming this would take a good 3 or 4 days for an unseasoned painter, such as myself?

Your materials are fixed, and a painter might be $125 a day, and a floor guy might be $150 a day.

I walked in to my home during the rental period, with no notification from my Realtor or buyer, to find the buyer with her painter in my home. 

I have spoken to a few painters and they seem to think that another coat of sealer and then painting the house will work, but im skeptic.
