I would strongly caution you about investing anywhere outside of where you live until you develop your skills.

Since many condos complexes either still had a significant number of developer owned units; or speculators had purchased the units and rented them out, very few condos qualified for financing.

I’d look to buy a value add SFH in a developing but good neighborhood instead - the areas I do are not necessarily the only options.
