You don't really want to have voting power o/w you may risk being construed as a manager and not limited.

Either way, there is a need for cash for the DP's for these properties.Using the existing CF as a means to accumulate this needed cash is a slow, S  L  O  W  process. 

O/W isn't so odd to finance, motels, churches, private schools or resorts are unusual enough to draw specialized lenders.
