So in my opinion, it teaches me how to use short-term leverage to build an income snowball...then once I get an efficient and ever-increasing machine...I pivot that into getting more long-term assets (using safe, long-term leverage). 

I think they have a well-oiled machine, but they are dealing with alot of volume which can contribute to misses like this.

Maybe install a coin operated machine to slow down the use.

I recommend TVs in every bedroom (of course, this depends on the target market), a coffee machine, etc.
