Some wires got crossed somewhere.It seems that a sophisticated, very wealthy operator could possibly implement your strategy--say they had some stream of cash from something else that they didn't need and could funnel into this, removing the need to keep reserves--but for the average person, even the average millionaire, it would be insane.
