I am trying to decipher the anatomy of a PoL deal gone bad.

I'm attempting to read, decipher, and ,ultimately, understand the data.  

I'm wanting to know how to decipher between what is government regulation and what is bank policy? 

So let me decipher this, if i understand this, you have someone that wants to be an onsite manager but in return he wants some income, low rent on his apartment along with utilities and cable included ?

Even then, you have things you can't decipher without actually going through the property (bad/good floor plan, tiny/huge/awkward layout bathroom).

We’re hoping to find someone who can decipher what’s what…Is this a matter a Title rep is supposed to figure out, or a CPA maybe?

Thanks Lee, but the Los Angeles (city) building code is very hard to decipher, and the city gives conflicting opinions when asked (after 1+ hours waiting in line), and no authoritative opinions before submitting complete plans.

Because I am just starting out, I'm having a hard time deciphering between legitimate and "scam" companies and have already been burned once.Thoughts or insights on these companies?
