My goal is to build long-term wealth using the BRRRR strategy—buying underperforming properties, rehabbing with discipline, refinancing responsibly, and holding for durable cash flow.I invest in both single-family homes and small multifamily properties, primarily within the workforce housing space, where fundamentals support stable demand and long-term ownership.I’m a lawyer by training and a healthcare executive by profession, which shapes how I approach investing: conservative underwriting, strong contracts, risk mitigation, and operational rigor.

The difference is similar to FSBO vs Realtor in your profession.

I was under the impression that a net loss would allow me to deduct from my 9-5 salary from my profession.

Create a strategy that works for you while you grow in your profession. 

I have a full-time job but do not work in the profession nor do I know anyone in the field.  

What is the outlook with your job / profession?

Are they in a particular profession/industry, do they have a similar family size, etc?

I feel like many of the people I have used in the past just don't really grasp all the benifits of our profession.

There will always be lazy people in all professions.
