Tenant behavior around security deposits is often completely irrational (I wish there was research performed on this subject), and the time and friction involved in fighting over relatively small amounts is rarely worth it.In your case, if the dispute is over $1,000, you really need to ask yourself whether that amount justifies the time, stress, and potential escalation involved.

I worked with HomeTeamVR in a different capacity (as an art vendor they sourced from for the design portion).While I can’t speak to the PM side, I do know that other STR design companies tend to charge significantly less for design ($2 per square foot), sourcing ($12 - 15 per square foot for the decor), and install, and are generally more transparent throughout the process.Sorry to hear you went through such a stressful experience.

For Safely, I want to stress that everyone's needs and risk are different but I felt that the OTAs host protection coverage + my regular home insurance coverage (W/ a STR rider) was sufficient for my level!
