STR in the Poconos

Hi- I'm new to real estate investing but am looking to get a STR property in the Poconos. I've been doing research on some possible locations within the Poconos and started collecting preliminary data on ADRs and occupancy rates. I'd love to connect with folks who have had/have STR properties in the Poconos for tips/advice on how to get started and their experiences within this market.

The Poconos is a boom and bust real estate market and its going through a boom right now. Its taken a while to get the cheapest cleaner, the best exterminator etc after vetting almost every one of them in the area. This market is not for the faint of heart, if you do it you gotta go all the way.
