Yet, I have always recalled and admired how my father called his own shots, and as I later realized, through his accumulation of real estate intellect and experience garnered as an independent builder, he successfully shifted his focus exclusively towards the accrual of real-estate assets that served him comfortably for the rest of his life.

I've also said positive things about Bush:- He did what he thought was right;- He didn't care what people thought of him. But, overall, I think he is pretty average in terms of intellect, which is a scary thought for the most powerful person in the world...The funny thing is, nobody cared to argue with me on any of this (including you, Tim)...they just rationalized that it was okay, because he surrounded himself with smart people. If you believe Bush is anything more than average in terms of intellectual ability, please provide evidence.

"When I remember how many of my private schemes have miscarried; how speculations have failed, agents proved dishonest, marriage been a disappointment; how I did but pauperize the relative I sought to help; how my carefully governed son has turned out worse than most children; how the thing I desperately strove against as a misfortune did me immense good; how while the objects I ardently persued brought me little happiness when gained; most of my pleasures have come from unexpected sources; when I recall these and hosts of like facts, I am struck with the incompetence of my intellect to prescribe for society" ---Herbert Spencer

Intellect is not fully developed until a male reaches an age of 20 to 21, there's just nothing you can do about that.Believe it or not, I remember 15, 16, 17 and 18, they were very opinionated years.
