The carrying cost math is definitely one of the things that makes land interesting compared to traditional rentals.In many of the rural areas of Pennsylvania I’ve been analyzing, property taxes on these smaller parcels are usually very low, which makes it easier to hold land while waiting for the right buyer or development trend.I also agree that actual sold comps are far more important than listed prices.
