Be careful that you are not being penny wise and pound foolish as cheaper providers do not have the safeguards necessary to protect your funds.  

But a couple of thoughts come to mind:1 - An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I had a 60 pound dog owner inquire.I said dog must be crated when owner goes away--- I have large, low windows and had that problem with jumping dogs before.

Buy in bulk rice, beans, 20-pound ham, 10-pound chicken packages, food banks, 50-pound bags of potatoes- white or russet costs less than red, ask your local grocer for a deal, 50 pounds of onions, 50 pounds of carrots, etc. 

When they gained 5 pounds during the day but lost it overnight, they will be the first to tell you"I lost 5 pounds since yesterday...."

When used wrong, like a pipe wrench to pound a nail, well let's just say "results may vary" is an understatement. 

Everytime I go to their site as a traveler, it shows currency in British pounds instead of US dollars, despite me checking the box for US dollars, and I've traveled through them numerous times.

Don't you believe the local municipality and state want their pound of flesh for operating there?
