My wife and I are going to buy our first property after we relocated to a new city due to work.

Money follows good business practices.

Most practical way is to save save save.

For those wholesalers jumping into the business, educate yourselves in areas beyond guru speak or even RE appraisal practices.

Now that I have relocated to Jacksonville Florida, I'm looking to take the capital I've built and start a more serious real estate investing campaign.In closing, I plan to be a much more active member in the BiggerPockets community over the next few months, years, etc.

We're basically maxed out on our debt to income ratio now because:1) We have our primary home2) We have two other properties that are now rentals because we are always relocating with my husband's company.  

I don't know about other areas specifically but my understanding is it's not a repeatable business practice. 

I'm practicing doing rental analysis, but some of the homes on Zillow are priced REALLY low yet look like they're in decent condition.

We find it very valuable for relocations.
