Agent emailed me when I posted initially to encourage me, stating he's witnessed that many REs out there are "lazy".

This is encouraging and will motivate me to kick it up into high gear this summer!

With that being said, we encourage our Agents to do so if they are working with serious buyers as they will have personal time invested, they will provide assessments and share knowledge with the buyer, they will have travel and wear and tear on their vehicle, etc. 

I would love encouragement and advice on out of state investing and even partnerships.  

The tax law is designed to encourage home ownership, therefore capital gains on personal residence are not taxed, aka $500k exemption aka Section 121.Step 3.

Also the industry is not regulated so it is encouraged to choose a QI who has insurance, bonding, and will be holding your funds in a Qualified Trust account.

I’m constantly learned everyday, although the first deal didn’t end up perfect and kinda shook me up, I still saw the true power of real estate and I encourage anyone out there who has got a deal yet, or had a deal go bad.. to keep working toward that next deal.

I never realized that the broker companies "interviewed you" and try to encourage you to join their company, which is slightly relieving, but I'd like to find the best broker for me.
