@Paul Bogard Any real estate agent who promotes themselves as an agent who is a specialist on renting out bedrooms should be moved to the bottom of the list of people to take real estate advice from..... 

If not, then 2 things come to mind:1) you should not give the impression you are associated with BiggerPockets.2) this is advertising/self-promotion that should be in the Classifieds...Thought I'd share that before a Moderator chimes in......My 2 cents,Mike

To piggyback on Jay's point, generally speaking I think the kind of personalities that are really good at real estate are the opposite of the kind of personalities that are really good at self promotion and presenting.

So, $22 and 48 hours later, I have a list.Keep in mind that BP promotes their books pretty regularly on the podcast (as they should) so their books are mentioned often (not to say you shouldn't read them, because you should!).

Addressing Housing Demand -California’s housing shortage is well-documented, and SB 9 directly targets the problem by promoting small-scale, incremental density increases.

Most billion dollar portfolio holders have there assets listed on their company website or are out there promoting their business through their assets one way or another.

My guess is that the promotions feature will turn into a variable commission model in the future (20% Discount, Airbnb offers 10% to the customer and pockets the 10% in extra Commissions).

I think that the idea of loan assumptions has come from these old options under that "old school" thinking, and adopted by those who promote installment purchase arrangements.
