I am looking to do my first RE investment and want to better understand the the generally accepted/widely followed rules to ensure that I dont loose money.Chad - to your question about my risk tolerance - Its pretty low - meaning for my 1st property I want to make a safe investment in a class A/B neighborhood with stable rents.

For example, I think a range/stove is going to be about 30 inches wide, not 16.
