To the extent necessary, I would encourage landlords to procure new forms in order to stay compliant with these new changes.Another huge change found within SB 291 is the requirement of individualized assessments related to criminal denials.

I had a discussion with the police supervisor at the police station and explained liability and consequences (our tenant was indicating the were going to go get their own gun - I would not blame them).

If they are subletting, the original tenant is responsible for all actions of the subletting individuals (I would recommend not to do this for many reasons).
