I spent most of my career in the Air Force (cue the jokes about hotels and golf courses), then crossed over to the Space Force for the last few years (yes, we exist… and no, I don’t have a lightsaber).I own a few long-term rentals now, and I’m exploring whether it makes sense to branch into housing that supports people who genuinely need stable, structured places to live—sober living, assisted living, transitional housing, or veteran-focused housing.I’ll be upfront: I’m not looking to personally run or staff these homes.

Michael,I've actually considered doing it myself for tax purposes but, I'm also considering paying someone at least until my day job is more predictable as far as the time I must dedicate outside of normal business hours to be successful.It might be a good compromise to do the managing myself but, finding a cleaning crew to assist with turnover.
