No fault eviction costs 1 month rent statewide, 2 month’s rent in city of San Diego (3 month’s rent if they are senior or handicap).Hopefully you did all your research before purchasing and the tenants are paying close to market rent and that the tenants have been fully and thoroughly vetted.

If a judge considered ADD a handicap, it would be ridiculous but these days everyone is handicap or some quack tells them they are when they are in grade school scaring them for the rest of their life and feeding them pills like the chief from one flew over the cuckoos nest.

I dont think Don or Chris particularly are hurt with this as they have long standing and loyal client bases and it wont affect me personally either but it sure does handicap others wanting to get started who may not have the long successful track record .

On the other hand if you make improvement to the property that are a benefit to the handicapped, your property will be a value to future tenants also who need those features, and very few properties have those features.
