For the right market this could be good.It would have to be intuitive for the user.in general, I’m not that interested in fad type amenities that don’t have mass appeal and add to the property value in general.

Either way it depends on your diet and desire.

This quitting W2 to survive on REI reminds me of the FIRE movement or Paleo diet.

It's like a workout regimen or diet - the best one is the one that you will actually stay consistent in doing.

They go from thing to thing until they figure out there aren't too many easy fads they can jump on where they will fire their boss in 5 months.

Ya-know, it kind of makes me think of diet fad's to be honest. 

Every day I buy a large Diet Coke at McDonald’s  $1.07 forever.  

When case Shiller used to publish their residential return for this century it showed the high appreciation markets in general fad the higher cash flow.  

I wouldn't MTR it - MTR is just another fad that will get oversaturated by all the STR operators looking for another straw to grab.

For a SUSTAINABLE career in real estate investment, or in any real estate service or business, a thorough knowledge of real estate principles, finance and law is one hundred times more beneficial than knowledge of any current fad strategy or technique taught by the latest “front man” produced by the seminar companies out of Las Vegas or Provo.
