One way I’ve come to think about this is that crews aren’t just vendors — they’re part of the production system.When a project runs well, it’s usually because the people doing the work feel like they’re part of something that’s moving forward, not just clocking hours on another job.Small things like coffee, lunch, or the occasional bonus aren’t really about the dollar value.
