Reality is humans by nature are nasty, mean, selfish creatures.

@John Morgan Selfish managing 29 properties does sound time consuming (especially with 10 OOS).

She is not guilty but having to pay the price for someone else's selfishness. 

OP you’re approaching this from a selfish standpoint.  

I love the phrase "selfishly employed".

When someone does something that seems selfish or disregards others feelings or safety. 

If it's a location preference you'll have to decide if you rather live there than living somewhere else that will give you more income to invest.It's more of a selfish reason(s).

Selfishly I wish I was in your shoes....i think you should hang in there, take advice from those who have been there before.
