New ADU Zoning

I have seen across several news channels that recent changes in Columbus Zoning are making it easier to build an ADU on your property. The rules apparently went into place recently, or past recently and perhaps is going into place shortly? honestly the articles and press releases have been unclear.

Hence my call to the BP universe, I know we've got  quite the cbus cohort here...

Anyone have more incites on these changes past the basic news articles out there? anyone know or have reference to the specific codes or regulations that were changed or created that "make it easier to build ADU's".

Asking for selfish reasons, would really like to explore building one at my personal home.

Thanks always!

@Michael K Gallagher we're working on a few product options for both home owners and rental property owners ranging from 500-800sqft. Approx cost will be about $85k to $120K or so. Hope the pricing helps...
