Ive had to deal with leaking pipes will on the road back from my daughters soccer game an hour away, Ive dealt with guests arriving at 1 am and not understanding how to work a smart lock in the dark, I've dealt with cleaners backed up due to circumstances and guests arriving early and having to wait an extra hour beyond check-in time because the place wasnt clean.I did try to prepare and I have the numbers for a 24-hour plumber and my handyman does off hour calls and we have negotiated his rates.

Income creeps up, participation rules aren’t met, or filing status changes and poof, the benefit disappears.I would tell you not to assume losses are dead on arrival, but also don’t build a strategy around this allowance.
