his father sold Donald's soul to the devil, in return made him a billionaire.

haha yeah all i know is it was some building in brooklyn but im sure someone on here is a big fan. i give him credit where credit is due but i wish the selfmade developers got as much recognition as the donald does. what to you think?

One of Donald's first projects, while he was still in college, was the revitalization of the foreclosed Swifton Village apartment complex in Cincinnati, Ohio--turning a 1200-unit complex with a 66% vacancy rate to 100% occupancy within a year. When the Trump Organization sold Swifton Village for $12 million, they cleared $6 million in profit.

Oh well, hope my kids and kids' kids will not suffer like me. My kids are the first generation in America and I'm just the beginning. LOL

interesting tidbit. i have no way to verify this information but here it is because it supposedly has been researched. if you took the trump families fortune in 1964 (earned by fred trump in middle income apartment bldgs in Queens and Brooklyn NY) and invested it in the average REIT, the family worth would be greater than the Donalds! in other words, trump is all hype, passive investments would have done as well for the family fortune as Donalds Trump's investing prowess has. However, the haircut and ego would probably be the same.

I propose that posts/threads be more centered on factual evidence in attempt/purpose of providing tangible material that educates us as members.

Comparing our situation to Donald Trump and wishing for golden spoons is a waste of thread and time. Let's be more centered on development and the growth of our "higher learning". Not that I dont enjoy small chat or find myself dreaming every once in a while; just not here.
