What: BP Bay Area Master Meetup - SF
When: Friday, April 25, 2014, 5:30PM-9:00PM; Late night 9:05PM - ?
Where: Speakeasy Brewery (Brewhouse room)
1195 Evans Ave, San Francisco, CA 94124
Cesar Chavez exit off of 280 in SE corner of SF
Cost: Free; Bring cash for food and drink
Parking: Free in parking lot at venue, and free street parking for overflow
Food & Drink: Lots of Speakeasy Beers, and Mexican Food

Please RSVP by posting below, so I know how many are coming, and post a little about yourself below, tag others, etc, so you can make some connections before the meetup. I am scheduling this meetup in place of the monthly “East Bay Meetup” so we can have a venue where more BP members can join us, and we can hear each other better.

After 9PM, remaining after-hours folks will most likely be moving a few-minute drive away to Dogpatch Saloon, at 2496 3rd St, SF, 94107. Please check back on this posting the night before the meetup in case there are any unexpected changes.. but the meetup will be on! Thanks to Josh and Brandon for organizing the great community, and coming to say hello at the meetup! Also, special thanks to @Jaren Barnes for initiating our guests’ visit to the monthly BP meetup!

As a BP newbie and introvert, I tend to spend a fair bit of time lurking at meetups (also my normal forum mode), but I really enjoy them and am very thankful to organizers and all who share their varied experiences and expertise.

I would have loved to close with you, @Brandon Turner and @Troy Fisher but I had to head home to prepare for deadline procrastination! I enjoyed hearing about Troy's amazing rental returns in Las Vegas and Cleveland and Brandon's love for his high cap rate hometown investing.

Also a pleasure to meet @Kris Lai , @Dianna Silva, @Henry Salinas and business partner, @Cathey Bayless ; and @Purnell C. who encouraged me to get educated on firmer tenant management practices!

@Erik K. and partner's FL setup was a great example of what can be achieved with ENERGY and fantastic networking skills. Unfortunately, I am pretty low on both those scales, but still great to hear.

@Account Closed Special thanks for again, generously sharing your wisdom for my specific questions. After listening to you, I feel a bit further along my path to enlightenment :-)

You're a pleasure to have in the group! I'll email you about my next monthly meetup, and @Johnson H. should probably keep you in touch for SF meetups starting around June. A great thing about my big Summit later this year is that it will be focused on networking and more specifically connecting and introducing people to others with similar interests, investment strategies, locations, potential partners, deals etc.. Plus some great speakers!

There's tons of breweries out there, aren't there?! We had over 100 people at the meetup I believe, and breweries tend to have big, open spaces with no minimum charges/reservations. Plus great beer! Must be a good time to be a developer in Austin!
