1st, i'm new to this site. just trying to get a feel for some things. i recently inquired about michael kimble out of austin. got lots of looks, but no replies. i'm looking at a lot of different things. was wondering if anyone has reviewed cris chico's " virtual wholesaling" and if it is worthwhile, or another one of those " too good to be true?"

thanks & would appreciate a response,

" slu"

I have ordered some of Cris Chico's stuff. It is quality, useful and good material.....however, just like most " gurus" he makes wholesaling seem a lot easier than it is.

If you put in the hard work you will be successful, but it isn't easy.

I work with Cris Chico and wanted to say hi!

I agree with Jason - the only way to be successful in REI is to take action. There are no "magic bullets", despite all the hype usually surrounding the emails we all receive. Chico makes no claims EVER that his method is a magic bullet, so please don't be mislead - this is not a get rich quick program (though many do!),

I can tell you that despite what is happening in the markets since 10/6 we are still getting case studies from successful students using the virtual wholesaling methodology.

These aren't sales-y webinars - chico lays down serious content based on what is working in his business today.

I hope this gives you a little more perspective.

Chico did an online webinar on Virtual Wholesale that was free. It was a slide show consisting of a frame-by-frame explanation of what VW is all about. Until that event, I just didn't understand what VW was supposed to do. The slides contained URLs galore with useful information that I now use daily in my short sale negotiations. Bravo to Cris Chico!

Hello gang!
My Name is Edgar, I am a RE investor from Dallas, TX.. I recently attended a webinar with Chris Chico "acclaimed Virtual Wholesaling Guru" .I am very interest it in his product but, before paying the $ 997. I would like to hear from someone that is using this product as part of their business.
I want to know if it works as flawlessly and easy as he promises in his presentations. Thanks in advance Grin

I don't think you need to spend $997 to use the concepts presented by Cris Chico in his virtual wholesaling webinar. There's not much more to VW than what he presented in his free webinar. I'm basing this on someone else's comment to me after he purchased Cris Chico's materials.

Hey Stephen, I'm new here too and new to rei but I wanted to let you know about some local programs (I'm in Baytown)that I will be looking into myself. One is Lifestyles Unlimited and the other is Texas Home Buyers Network. THBN is harder to find on the web than Lifestyles. IF you want pm me and I will send you the links.

Caitlyn is that webinar still available?

There are so many gurus out there, it's hard to know who to believe & who NOT to. What's worse, is someone like me who has no mentor & wants to learn & succeed SO badly... just don't have a dime to my name to even pay for postage stamps to do direct mailings!

WHAT DO I DO???

Real Estate Investor · Myrtle creek , Oregon

Renae, relax, slow down, the guru's can't teach you anything you can't learn here on the forums for free. If a good book is recommended here check it out at your local library. Have a great day! Jim

Mr_Investor, I'm sorry I didn't see your follow up question until now.

No, Cris Chico's webinar is made live only when Chico calls out the webinar as a precursor to selling his system. If you write to me offline, I'll fax the 100 pgs of webinar screen shots + text to you.

Have the Abesentee Owner Profits System (which is mainly focused on marketing) and it is very well put together. The content is easy to understand. On a scale of 1 thru 10 I rate it a 9.

I have Virtual Wholesaling and it was well worth the $997. I ordered the material in the afternoon and after watching the 15 or so videos I had purchased a list, scrubbed it and uploaded it to Click2Mail and mailed out 700 postcards to an area in Ohio after a few hours. It was very easy to understand and if I had any questions I just watched the video again. It was very helpful to me starting out. Cris lays it all out for you. I found it to be the most complete information of any product I had purchased.

A side note on direct mail: I mailed those postcards once to Ohio Feb 08 and I still get a call every now and then.

What type of seller list did you mail out Mike.??

Real Estate Investor · Austin, Texas

What I have done in the past, but have found it to be a waste of time now because the only thing you need to know is to just take action. After so many books, so many seminars, webinars, etc it all boils down to hitting the streets and doing it. As for Mike Kimble, he is the real deal as far as I have heard. I actually tracked down one of his testimonials up in Indiana and somehow managed to ge tthis guys cell phone number and called him up out of the blue one day.

I asked him if he did Kimbles program, and he said yes, and that he had done a few deals since then. That was about it, and then I added him to my buyers list.

Hi Caitlyn
I'm new here...re your 1/24 post to Mr_Investor, any chance I can also access the Cris Chico slides you referenced?

PM me if you're interested or know someone who might be/has the VW course. thanks so much.

hi folks,

Can anybody share any negative feedback on Cris Chico's Virtual Wholesaling progam & it's support system? As i am thinking about buying the progam myself'.

Many Thanx,
George

I would like to know more about this system too, particularly the postcard text and contracts he uses. I'd pay the money for his stuff, but I don't have that kinda skrilla. My capital is $50 a month, which is barely enough to do anything.

I clicked through his site and there was an order page asking $49, so I don't know about $997. Is that what you pay after you've payed $49? What's the deal with that?

I googled him and so far it's good reviews, so it seems like a good way to start. Still looking though; there might be some bad legal underbelly to this. He says he came up with no-liability contracts with the help of attorneys, but it would take an attorney to determine the legitimacy of that claim. I'm sure it's probably possible to come up with contracts that are valid in all 50 states, but that's still extra money paying an attorney to look over those contracts to make sure.

Anyone who has information, particularly copies of the contracts and postcard spiel, please PM me. Thanks.

· Shingletown, California

Okay; I haven't had time to look at all the emails he's sent me, but I went through them today, and I understand the $997 thing. If I had the money I'd try that approach, since it's a cookie cutter setup and you get some mentoring. But he also offers the course alone for $47, for those who want to start from scratch.

I don't know if it's an actual savings to join virtual wholesaling; I haven't ordered the course to figure out setup costs. but I think I'll go ahead and spend the $47. I'm sure I could find a way to set things up cheaper than $997.

I'm still unsure of the risk involved with his cookie-cutter contracts; either way, I'll end up running them by an attorney.
