I was riding through neighbors and noticed a Marshall sign on an abandon house. Could this be a potential wholesale deal? If so, would be the steps I would take to make this happen. Any an all advice is welcome. Thanks everyone!

I think your referring to a bandit sign? What did the sign say? Usually you won't see a sign on a potential deal, if you do it's most likely because someone else got there before you did.
Can you give some more details?
Jeff
Hello Jeff! I had a chance to drive back by the property and it's a US Marshall sign as well as No trespassing. I can only assume that maybe the previous owners got busted for drugs or something. Is this something I could pursue? If so, what steps would you recommend I take?
Go to your local tax assessor website and see who the owner of the property is. You can then send a letter to them and see if they want to sell.
I would also call the US Marshall and see if they can give you info about what happened...if it was a meth lab I would STAY AWAY, the cost of cleanup will more then likely be too much to deal with. As a matter of fact, I would check with the US Marshall BEFORE sending a letter.
Jeff
My pleasure. Post back up here with what you find. Good luck.
Jeff
I found out why the house has the marshall sign. It was a meth lab and someone was murdered in it as well. Looking at the neighborhood never would have thought but in todays times everything is possible.
Meth lab was exactly what I was afraid of. STAY AWAY! Too much $$ to clean up.

Here are a couple of BP threads on dealing with property that had meth contamination:
