Housing construction, permits hit record lows

I think we're close to the bottom. Fewer houses are being built but the population growth isn't slowing. However, we'll only know for sure that the recovery came when we're 2 years past it.

But we've hit the bottom of the housing market, right? That's what everyone keeps telling people. We can keep shouting Rich, but the Administration, press, NAR, and all the other interested parties will continue to tout the line that this housing market has hit bottom. Who are we to argue with them?
