Marketing in your own community...tips or suggestions?

Hi all,

We've been doing flips for years in our own community, but are now ready to start some marketing to expand our business.

Is there anyone else that markets their own community? Just wondering if you had any advice, experience, or suggestions you might be willing to offer.

Four kids, church, and a wife for a teacher certainly have helped me become more known, but you make a good point and it's something I'll continue to work on;). Thanks @Rachel H.

As a starting point, you may just want to start by getting known in the community. If there are community events (i.e. yard sales, bake sales, school functions, etc), you may want to utilize these avenues and participate in them.

By being active in your community, you're able to market yourself and be seen but you also get to know others there as well. Hope that helps!
