Seeking Mentorship – NWA | BRRRRs & Flips

Hey BiggerPockets community,

I'm a Northwest Arkansas-based tradesman with a strong hands-on background, and I'm actively getting into real estate investing with a focus on BRRRRs and flips. I bring solid construction experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to put in the time and effort to learn the business the right way.

I'm looking for an experienced investor who's open to mentoring me through the process and helping me build a strong foundation. I'm very open to partnering, joint ventures, and sweat equity opportunities, especially where my skills and time can add real value to a deal.

I'm committed to learning, taking action, and being coachable. Happy to contribute however I can and to respect your time and experience.

If you're open to connecting or know someone who might be, l'd really appreciate it. Looking forward to learning from this community.

Thanks!

You’re starting from a strong place already. A solid trades background plus discipline goes a long way in BRRRRs and flips.

I’m happy to share guidance and help you think through deals as you get traction. In my experience, the most productive mentorships grow out of real deal work—underwriting, realistic rehab scopes, and clean execution—especially when construction experience is already there.

If you’re actively analyzing deals in NWA and want a second set of eyes or strategic feedback, feel free to reach out. Happy to point you in the right direction and share what’s worked (and what to avoid).

Thanks so much, Michaela! I really appreciate it. This will be my first real deal, I’m currently house hacking while updating my place with the plan to rent it out once it’s finished. I also work in property management, so I’m trying to be really mindful of long-term operations and realistic rehab decisions. Your experience would be super helpful as I work through the process. I’ll definitely reach out once I have a deal to get a second set of eyes. Thanks again!
