Howdy! I graduated college last year and my wife and I want to start our real estate journey by buying a duplex to house hack in the Dallas Metroplex area. How do you all figure out how much you can charge for rent in any given area?

HUD has their fair market rents in every state and town. It will give you current and projected. I think its great when evaluating a deal.
