Welcome to BP! We're so excited you're here and making connections. I highly suggest you to read, "The Ultimate Beginner’s Guide to Real Estate Investing." We wrote it with the beginner in mind. @Shakeal Brown regarding networking, i suggest you find a Real Estate Investment Association in your town. Show up to a couple of meetings and pay attention to who's who.
You're getting into a people business, so dig in locally.
