Any Real estate meet-ups in Tucson? I'm new to the concept of investing and would love to get to know a few professionals that I could have a coversation with, on how to get started.

Hey there Randy nice to meet you! 馃憢

There are quite a few meet ups in Tucson actually. A buddy of mine Patrick runs the new investor subgroup of the AZREIA (Arizona Real Estate Investors Association).

Next meet up for that group is May 7th at 6pm in the Keller Williams building located at:

1745 E. River Road #245 (Upstairs Conference Room)

Thanks for the shout-out @Donovan Reich! Apologies for the delay on my response; it took some extra time to lock down the guest speaker for next month, and knew I had an extra week to plan for it as there are 5 Tuesdays in April.

Welcome to the forums and community @Randy Obezo! The meeting Donovan referenced is now posted here, in the Events & Happenings forum. The moderators prefer we not dialogue too much in the general forums about local meetups around town to cut down on clutter and help curtail advertising in the general forums.

That said, I facilitate a subgroup specifically for newer investors as part of our local real estate investor's association AZREIA. Our subgroup specifically meets on the first Tuesday of every month, with the "main" meeting occurring the following week. Would love to have you join us, or just running into you at the main meeting later in the month.

Is anyone allowed to show up to these meetings or is it by invite only? Im new to investing and looking to meet other investors.

The AZREIA meetings are open to the public, but are a member benefit to being an annual member of AZREIA.

Non-members can come to any AZREIA meeting by paying a guest fee of $20: that applies to all new investor subgroup meetups (the first Tuesday) as well as any other meeting held by AZREIA, including the "main" meeting (the second Tuesday).

You do NOT need to be a member to come to a meeting.
