I have a family member who is relocating to Las Vegas in the next month to start a new job. We are looking for a local realtor recommendation to help secure an apartment prior to her move. Please keep recommendations to someone who have personally used. Thank you!

In many cities it is kind of rare that normal realtors that you might find here on back page assist with apartments.
I think Las Vegas is one of those cities. You might want to try one of the apartment locators.
Just be aware that typically the apartment locators are selling the higher priced properties, and this is because that is who pays them.
Many of the cheaper or sometimes even mid-class priced apartments don't pay referral fees, so they don't get on the list of apartment locators.
These days the apartment locators are mostly likely just providing a list of places they see are available, and you go view on your own, not escorted by the locator.
I have found that apartments.com is a pretty good resource for DIY. Many have video tours now already online of each unit.
Depending on their taste and budget, also be aware many of the offices will first try to sell you the updated units vs classic....of course for more money for month, so if they're on a budget, they might ask if there are classic units available to view or rent.
If they're interested in condos, townhomes, single family homes, that is a more likely area that the apartment locators won't touch and an agent might get involved to assist them.

We have looked at some of the apartment listing sites but were hoping to get some first hand guidance on neighborhoods..etc. She will be working for the Raiders, so I imagine they have relocation services that they work with there. Hi @Jeff Aponik I am a Realtor and property manager. My office is about 5 minutes from the Raiders practice facility in Henderson. Feel free to reach out anytime with questions. If apartments are the goal then there are several along St Rose Pkwy (Veritas Apartments, Elysian at St Rose, etc...). There are some condos on Seven Hills dr as well. And if townhouses become a consideration then look into Inspirada (about 5 minutes from the Raiders practice facility) where there are several parks, dog parks, playgrounds, community pools... The price points for the Inspirada townhomes will run in the $2,000-2,500 range depending on sqft.
