You chose an excellent market for Buy and Hold, as Indy and the surrounding areas brings two things: affordability and predictability. Maybe it's because I'm biased and grew up here, but BiggerPockets has a TON of members that invest here, which should make for a lot of subject matter in the forums that you can leverage. 

One agent that's a great resource is Tyler Lingle , so I'd start there!
