Is your local market still hot?

Question

How is your local market?  I am in Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay / Silicon Valley area and the market is still a seller's market with little inventory compared to past statistics.  So crazy. We have investors wondering which other markets are hot?  What say you?

I invest just over the hill from Scotts Valley in Felton, Mt. Hermon, Ben Lomond, Brookdale, and Boulder Creek. Even in the mountains the market is very hot and low inventory. The best deals I have see have all been off-market and big fixers.

Hot is an understatement here in the Denver Metro area. Pure Insanity is more like it. Watch what happens as these post Jan 1 deals start to close in the next week.

Yes, good post!  My market is currently very hot.  I focus on Chicagoland along with suburbs around within a 30 mins radius.

Like you said, less inventory and more buyers.  This has to a lot to do with the historical low interest rates.

In Las Vegas, NV  The low inventory and high prices are clashing with the ever changing job market due to covid.  Job growth expected to be -10% by some accounts and rents still going up +3%.  It will be an interesting year.

I have 0.7 months of inventory here in Austin, Texas .. so crazy.
