Massachusetts FHA 203K Loans & Lenders

What’s up everybody!

Does anybody know of any lenders in the Central Massachusetts area (Worcester county & surrounding areas) that offer FHA 203k loans? Any recommendations are appreciated!

I have spoken with Joe Galvin at Movement Mortgage about these. He was referred by a few people. Definitely give him a shout. Also happy to connect if you want to chat about the Worcester market!

    @Andrew Orantes Joe Galvin does all of my teams 203k loans. He knows all the players in this space in MA and NH and is actually doing one with a client on a mixed used 4 unit (3 residential and 1 commercial) in Worcester right now.

    A few lenders told our client the building wouldn't qualify for FHA due to the 1 commercial unit. Others mentioned it would not pass self sufficiency. Joe got it through no problem with a ~$150k renovation budget to boot. Sometimes we'll even use the 203k loan as a farce to get over minor fha issues when other agents tell their client they can't buy a property for some relatively minor issue.

    Joe's a master of understanding the FHA guidelines and navigating the grey areas effectively to get the client what they need.
